As we approach the conclusion of the event year the battles are coming down to fewer and fewer individuals. The Tyrella event results show a large variation in variance (that’s the difference between your handicap and your on-the-day speed). The event variance of 52secs shows that things were “quite” tough in the dunes and that the Green course competitors had the worst of it, with none managing to beat their handicap on the day.
