Huge congratulations to LVO’s James Ewart on being selected to represent Ireland at the European Youth Orienteering Championships (EYOC) in Slovenia, taking place 25–27 June. EYOC is an annual international competition bringing together the best young orienteers from across Europe in the M/W16 (under 16) and M/W18 (under 18) age categories. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to James’ hard work and dedication. We are incredibly proud and know he will be a brilliant role model for all our juniors. Wishing him the very best of luck in Slovenia! 🇮🇪🧭

🎉 Congratulations to all the LVO orienteers who travelled to Sheep’s Head, Cork over the Bank Holiday weekend to take part in the Irish Orienteering Championships! Although the race schedule was unfortunately cut short, competitors still had the opportunity to race in the Middle Distance event on Caher Mountain on Saturday. Huge congratulations to Ewan Ewart and James Ewart on their selection for the Junior Regional Orienteering Squad (JROS) summer training camps! JROS camps bring together some of the most talented junior orienteers from across the 12 British Orienteering Regional Associations, recognising athletes who have achieved outstanding performances and met the high standards required at selection races.
