The hCOW results for Barnett’s are now available at “Resources>LVO Public Folders>Public>hCOW>hCOW2021”. No-one who ran at Ormeau managed a faster run at Barnett’s. The event variance of 2:23mins/km shows how much slower was the less manicured woodland and the additional climb. With 29 folk carrying over a result from Ormeau this means that, rather counter-intuitively, 14 of you saw a reduction in your handicap. Don’t forget hCOW is there to reward consistency, not speed. I am using the long course of the WEE series events to run an hCOW series but as WEE is an activity, not a competition, I will not be calculating place points as in previous series.
