We had such a great bunch of families at our first Running Wild session at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre at the weekend. Taking place every last Sunday of the month, it’s a chance for juniors and parents to learn all about orienteering and about our club. We welcomed 20 children, 14 of whom were newcomers, together with their parents. Many thanks to Mark, who led the session, together with his helpers Steph, Fionne and Moire. Taking place in Ormeau Park, Belfast on Wednesday 6 November from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, it is a great chance for newcomers as well as seasoned club members to go for a mid-week navigation run in the dark. Our WENTs are back! What a better way to spend dark, cold, wet nights than to get out with a map, compass and head-torch and do some orienteering with fellow club members? The fifth and final TempO cluster of the 2024 TrailO Champs will be set up alongside the NI Colour Series event at Glengariff Forest tomorrow.
