The Orangefield and Belvoir results are in WEE11.pdf and WEE12.pdf; the history of your handicap fluctuations is in WEE Series Handicaps.pdf (use that to review you performances, good or bad) and the overall scores are in WEE Series Table.pdf. Congratulations to Olivia Baxter who made a late surge through the rankings to come out on top with a winning performance at Belvoir.

A big thank you to this weeks novice planner, James Earnshaw who was supported on the night by his younger brother Dan on the IT side of things, Brendy, Jane who has coordinated the whole month, Heather and Gavin for the hotdogs and those who helped with control collection. It really is a team effort! About 50 of us explored Read More …

Bank Holiday Monday – Edenvilla Park, Portadown

After a thoroughly enjoyable dander round Donaghadee, thanks to Stephen & Richard, the NI Urban Series caravan returns swiftly to Portadown and to the spiritual home of Orchard County Orienteers – Edenvilla Park, for a double headed Bank Holiday afternoon of fun. As this years’ WEE Series comes to a close, some of you may have noticed that there wasn’t a ‘Craigavon’ WEE this year. So for those of you who feel like you’ve missed out, or just want to explore, we’re giving you a bonus of two WEE style events on the same afternoon, with a bonus sticker for Read More …

Come around the ‘Dee and just enter on the day

If you didn’t get around to entering the Around the ‘Dee event tomorrow Saturday 20 August, just head on down. Sufficient maps have been printed to allow for on the day entries. All the details are on the event page on the LVO website: https://lvo.org.uk/allfixtures/ni-urban-league-donaghadee/

WEE 11 Orangefield Report and August WEE League Update

Yesterday evening it was the turn of Orangefield Park to be explored, and explored it was in fine detail both by the planners and participants! 👍 Well done and thank you to all who supported the event either through participation or volunteering with planning and organising. 👏 Special thanks to young, new planners Norma and Agata, who with their local knowledge had us twisting and turning in every direction, setting a real challenge for even the most experienced orienteer! It was great to see locals and newcomers come enjoy are sport too. Thanks to coordinator Jane Wilson who put together Read More …

WEE hCOW Tables Updated

They can be found at “Resources>OneDrive Public>hCOW>hCOW2022”. WEE10.pdf gives the on-the-night performance, WEE Series Table.pdf shows the present points totals and WEE Series Handicaps.pdf shows the history of your handicap movement. Stormont was a remarkable Baxter Family triumph, filling the first 3 places and Olivia’s series lead corresponds closely with her unwavering handicap – regularity indeed!

Attention Condes Users

Please read this if you have a LVO licenced version of Condes installed on one or more computers. The current LVO licence has expired but you will be able to continue to use Condes up to the current version 10.3.1. Ignore the message when opening Condes that asks you to activate a new licence. If you are having difficulty opening Condes (it opens, a message flashes briefly over the screen and then it closes) you should reinstall Condes direct from condes.net. This should install version 10.3.1 and recognise the old LVO licence. If you do NOT yet have Condes installed, Read More …

NI Urban League – Orla’s Labyrinth

Following hot on the heels of Donaghadee, like Ciara Mageean behind Laura Muir we have the next installment of our NI Urban League. Forget about Pan’s Labyrinth, and even Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. You know us: In Orchard County we like to go above and beyond, so why not come and join us for a Bank Holiday afternoon of Fun and Frivolity, and probably a few choice words. What’s in store? 2 runs for the price of one over the shorter distance. You can choose your first start time. Your second will depend on how well you do on the first Read More …
