Tables Updated after Castleward, with caveat

Various tables have been updated with the performances at Castleward. You can find them at “Resources>OneDrive Public>” then

“Colour Standards>Colour Standards.pdf” to see your colour standard position. With no events falling out of the one year window this has been a chance for a number of people to consolidate their position.

“Club Colour Series>2023SpringCup.pdf” to see the Spring Cup standings with 2 out of the three events to count. There are quite a few class leaders already determined but Hillsborough still provides opportunities to catch up.

“hCOW>hCOW2023> then

“Event4Castleward.pdf” for the on-the-day performances. Wow, Áine McCann’s courses certainly kept folk moving! A 6min20sec event variance made things difficult for the low handicappers – Billy Reed would have had to go hypersonic to prevent his from rising.

“hCOW Table.pdf” for the current standings. Although Moiré O’Sullivan suffered as one of the low handicappers she is still leading those who have a result in each of the 4 counting events.

“Handicap Table.pdf” shows the carnage of the fast going but use it to reflect on your performances over the series.

“Regatta Table.pdf” for the handicap improvement points. Some interesting combinations of scores!

The caveat mentioned above is that, without any simple results being published I have had to cross-reference the times quoted in Routegadget (which doesn’t show age class or club) with the SIEntries entry list (which does) and make some assumptions where discrepancies have occurred. I would therefore be grateful if folk would check that they have an appropriate entry in the Spring Cup tables (for all courses) and the Event4Castleward table (for Short Blue and Short Green courses) and let me know if I’ve got it wrong.
