On Friday 5 May, last Saturday’s excellent Spring Cup courses will be available again as a middle distance training activity just before the British Sprint and Middle Distance weekend. Spring Cup Completion and looking ahead

For those of us lucky enough to run at Hillsborough on Saturday, for the final Spring Cup event of the year, we were treated to some great weather and fantastic courses which Olivia planned. With lots of changes in direction, the courses definitely had a middle distance feel about them. The Short Blue course was particularly interesting as all the paths were removed from the map, making participants focus on using contours and other features such as vegetation changes. ☕🧁 Hillsborough – Junior Tea/Coffee and buns 🧁☕

We are hoping that tea, coffee and buns will be available again after our run round Hillsborough tomorrow. So, Juniors, if you have time, please can you make or bring some buns, cake or biscuits along, Ric & Sarah will bring along the flasks of tea and coffee. JK 2023 Report

I hope all LVO members had a great Easter weekend, there was certainly lots of fun had by those who headed to the Lakes for this years JK. A very heathy number of us (34 in total) headed off to join 2500 other orienteers from around Britain, Ireland, Europe and even further afield to run about in seemingly random directions. Various tables have been updated with the performances at Castleward.
