Orienteering during a partial solar eclipse will a unique experience for many of us this Wednesday evening! At the maximum, approximately 93% of the sun will be covered, and for most of the evening the light will be greatly effected, making reading the map and terrain more challenging. Additional Safety 🔦With this information it will be necessary to wear a head torch. If you do not have a head torch, there will be some available to borrow at registration, but not enough for everyone. 👚Bright/hi-vis clothing is also recommended to help avoid collisions. 👩‍👦Primary school age children should be accompanied Read More …

Over 60 of us had a great time at the first WEE Lite of August. Thank you to the National Trust for allowing us to run around the stunning grounds of Mount Stewart. The weather was kind to us, allowing us to stay and catch up after our runs, enjoy some refreshments and ponder over the best route choices Ric had planned for us. Thanks also to Peter, who helped set up and take down and Jack and JP who helped collect in controls. Our next Wednesday evening adventure is at Ward Park, Bangor on 12 Aug. Entries are now Read More …

Please note that LVO Map Printing Services will be unavailable from next Wednesday 12th August for 3 weeks until Wednesday 2nd September.

The handicap tables (hCALF) have been calculated following the final of the WEE Series. They can be found under “Resources>OneDrive Public>[3] hCOW>hCOW2026>hCALF2026”. In the hCOW Series (based on consistency) Chris Colwell beat Mark Pruzina to the finishing post because an excellent final result allowed him to drop off a lot of points while Mark’s dnf left him on his previous score. In The Regatta Series (based on improvement) we had the first 3 separated by 0.6 points – how close was that! It’s also great to see that all 3, Julia Sinclair, Erin Jackson and Eamonn O’Reilly, are new members Read More …
