πŸ†πŸ₯‡NIOA ChampionsπŸ₯‡πŸ†

πŸ‘Thank you to all who travelled the length and breadth of the country (and beyond) to compete in the NI Score and Night Champs yesterday. The two events were timed perfectly between storms Eunice and Franklin, and 100 runs were enjoyed/endured in relatively good conditions, a bit nippy and damp in the evening. πŸ‘Thank you to all the volunteers who set up the events for us, especially Richard Vasey who had his hands full planning and setting out controls before and between the events, Organiser, Olivia Baxter and all who helped with the MOO and collecting controls. Thanks Planners/Organisers + Kit Amnesty

Today we enjoyed the last of our 4 score training activities put in place to help prepare us for the forthcoming NI Score Champs in a couple of weeks time. Thank you to our planners/organisers, Mark Earnshaw, Michael Burton, Alan Brett and Peter Reed, along with other lovely people, who made these activities fun and challengingπŸ‘. Not using the MOO so much over the restrictive covid period and working out of the back of a car along with the relocation of the LVO store has meant that the kit has been harder to keep track of. With the busy, exciting Read More …

Happy New O-Year!

The Colour Standards table has been rolled forward for 2022. This involved removing the 2020 entries (except for the last, Donard on 12/12/20 (which still counts towards some folks “best-of 3-in-12-months” current standard), and adding the anticipated 2022 colour events There should be more to come e.g. Autumn Trophy series and NI Colour Series 5. Let’s make the first NY resolution to maintain or improve your standard (or gain one if you haven’t done so already). The table also shows your current membership status so for too many folks there’s a second resolution to get yourself out of the pink Read More …

πŸŽ„Happy ChristmasπŸŽ„

πŸŽ…On behalf of the LVO committee, I would like to wish all LVO members a very happy and healthy Christmas. πŸ‘ Considering the year we have had, the club has done an amazing job to host so many events and activities, I counted 31 since we were allowed to start back in May! This does not even count the junior coaching and activities organised with local authorities and other partners. What an incredible achievement and one to proud of. Thanks to all the volunteers who have helped, especially those who help plan and organise events and of course the committee Read More …
