Tonight is the deadline to pre-enter for the first WEE of the season. It is at Hillsborough forest with starts from 6.30pm. A large group of Scandinavian O-tourists are testing it out on Tuesday for us. Both days results will be unavailable, so you can see how you fare against them. The JK is one of the biggest UK orienteering competitions, always held over the Easter weekend. 4 days of fun. This year it’s in South Wales and there’s a merry wee band heading over from LVO. Relays are on the Monday and we have 4 club teams entered, plus 2 orienteers perched on the reserve bench. On top of that, we have orienteers on Irish Junior Squad teams, and even more running on other club teams. Lots of cheering-on required!! It’s fast approaching the JK in Wales over the Easter weekend, followed by the Irish Orienteering Championships in the Killarney area over the May bank holiday weekend. Hopefully today’s sunshine is a sign of things to come. Susan Lambe & Olivia Baxter are once again co-ordinating club relay team entries. Once again we’re disorganised!!
