With the sun splitting the trees, a beautiful day welcomed us all to the enjoy a great day out at Tollymore Forest Park for our first Autumn Trophy event. With regard to the running of activities and events during this period of mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Lagan Valley Orienteers are following the advice and lead of our National Governing Body, British Orienteering. In brief, activities and events will continue as planned, so tomorrows Autumn Trophy event at Tollymore will go ahead as planned. Mid and East Antrim BC have partnered with Lagan Valley Orienteers to celebrate Love Parks Week! We have a mini-series of 3 events across the week exploring 3 of the beautiful green spaces MEA has to offer. Although July is traditionally a rest month for organised Orienteering activity, hopefully you are able to get out and enjoy a good hill run or a walk through the forest.
