Some genuinely fantastic prizes were handed out at the evening BBQ during the Tollymore Festival of Orienteering Weekend. But let’s be honest – no award could ever match the satisfaction of knowing that, for the next 12 months, you can casually remind the rest of us that you’re officially the best orienteer in your age group in our club.
Special mention too to James and Niamh, who claimed the Golden Boot and Silver Slipper. Unlike the age-group trophies, these awards are contested across the entire club, so an outstanding achievement for these very-fast juniors!
