๐ŸšจMore Qualified LVO Controllers on their way ๐ŸŽ‰

Congratulations to all the LVO members who attended the Level C Controllers Course last Saturday at Hillsborough Village Centre!

Controllers play a vital role in making sure our events run smoothly and to the highest standards. Their responsibilities include:

โœ… Ensuring event standards are met from planning through to review

โœ… Making sure all event and competition rules are followed

โœ… Communicating with tact to support and guide event officials

โœ… Offering advice to avoid common pitfalls

โœ… Supporting the organiser and planner at every stage

โœ… Verifying that a proper risk assessment is done

โœ… Ratifying final event paperwork (courses, maps, control codes, etc.)

โœ… Providing detailed feedback post-event

Itโ€™s fantastic to see a couple of new faces working towards becoming fully qualified controllers! ๐Ÿ‘
