It is with much regret, but with the safety of fire crews and participants in mind, that we have decided to postpone this coming Saturday’s Club April Meet until Saturday 10 May due to the wildfires that are currently sweeping the high Mournes.

To all walkers and outdoor lovers – we ask you not to walk in the high Mournes at this time.
Due to ongoing emergencies, our incredible emergency services are under immense pressure. They urgently need:
Access routes kept completely clear
No additional rescues or callouts
All resources focused on dealing with the current crisis
Please do not put yourselves – or others – at risk. Fires are making conditions extremely dangerous.
This applies ALL WEEK and INTO THE WEEKEND.
