Lagan Valley Orienteers are supporting Northern Ireland Orienteering Association in staging the British Middle-Distance Championships on Sunday 7 May 2023 in Drumkerragh Forest.
This national competition will be a great experience for our club to host and an opportunity for many of us to experience supporting and/or competing against the best orienteers in the UK and beyond.

The British Sprint Champs and British TrailO Champs will be held the day before (Saturday 6th) in Armagh City.
The British Championships races conclude the weekend of 10 days of the Emerald Isle O Festival. This festival, the first of its kind in Ireland, kicks off with the Irish Championship weekend (28 April – May 1). For more info visit the Irish Orienteering Championships 2023 webpage.
The festival will also include events or activities each week day between the two National Championship competitions. This will include a UK Urban League Race at Carrickfergus on Thursday 4 May.
