⏰Now that the clocks have changed and darkness comes earlier, Wednesday Evening Night Training starts this week with WENT 1 in Ormeau Park. Congregate in the main car park at 7.10pm for a 7.30pm mass start. There is a 45 min time limit so we should be comfortably clear by 8.30pm with controls in. NISeries Table Update

The tables have been updated following the mountaineering event at Kilbroney. They have been sent to NIOA for official publication but a copy is available at “Resources>OneDrive Public>NI Series”. A number of folk have switched colour so you need to be careful; to be considered at any colour you need four counting results at least so with two events to go check which course would be best for you.

Rostrevor Colour Series Update

👍It is great to see 110 entries for this Saturday’s colour event, if you are still interested, hurry – entries close on Thursday! ☔The weather forecast this week is changeable so remember to wear full leg covering and bring along a waterproof jacket and whistle. 👋Thank you to all the volunteers who have kindly offered to help. Colour Series Calling – Rostrevor here we come!

Ooops!

Whilst working with the hCOW spreadsheet to produce a series table, I realised that I hadn’t updated the Colour Standards table with Autumn Event results. That omission has now been reversed and the updated table is now available to view. On the Green course many of you who fell into the Baxter black hole of Hillsborough (I’ve looked at Routegadget!) may have felt that you will have missed a Green standard. LVO Club Results – Leinster Champs

Twenty nine LVO members made the journey just over the border into the Cooleys on Sunday 3rd October to Carnawaddy for the Leinster 2020/2021 Championships. Nice conditions made for good running in a great setting and LVO competed well against the other Irish clubs. Six class wins were recorded for LVO members: Oliver O’Kane in M16 Susan Lambe in W40 Stephanie Pruzina in W55 Lyle Fleming in M55 Wilbert Hollinger in M70  and Richard McCourt in M75 Other notable results, Fiona Austin was second in W40 as was Sarah Gamble in W45 and Heather Cairns came third in W55.
