The first Autumn adventure is happening in the wonderful sand dunes of Portstewart Strand on Sat 2 September. Our friends in NWOC are inviting us to enjoy fun running on the north coast. 🦂 Those of us who managed to get to Barnet’s on Wednesday found out that the August WEE Series had a bit of a sting in its tail – which I felt in in my legs when hopping through some nettles and brambles. More complex and physical terrain made for some tricky but fun courses. The results for Lady Dixon are in, showing a welcome increase in turnout, including 11 recording their frst WEE result of the year. The result table “WEE6LadyDixon.pdf” show a very even spread, giving confidence in the formulae and assumptions being made. The regularity table “hCOW Table.pdf” shows, as suggested last week, that Olivia Baxter, once reaching 4 results, would go to the top of the list. The overall aim of the study is to understand how menstruation and menstrual pain affects participation in non-elite sports for young women.
