Plans are in hand for this year’s Wednesday Evening Night Training Series. NI Colour Series 5 at Crossmurrin on Sat 15 October
Details for NI Colour Series 5 on Saturday 15 October at Crossmurrin, Co Fermanagh hosted by FermO are on the NI Orienteering Fixtures page. Crossmurrin is a great area, but since it’s a fair distance away how about linking up to share transport at these places and times: M1 Junction 6 Lisburn (Saintfield Road) in the carpark at 9.30 M1 Junction 9 Moira (on the Moira side) at 9.45
NISeries Tables
The 2016 NI Series tables have been updated and the 2016 Colours of Autumn tables created following the event at Downhill last Saturday. They can be found via “results” on the NIOrienteering web site or in the LVO cloud via “contact us>documents>public documents>NI Series”.
Lisburn City Race -Routegadget
Apologies for the delay in posting results for today’s event. I’m struggling with accessing Autodownload whilst I apply penalties to the 11 competitors who were noted as transgressing an impassable feature (with the whole or part of the body) in the vicinity of control 142. Whilst technically such an incursion should mean disqualification, instead a 3 minute penalty will be applied. And this was despite Susan’s helpful coaching on Facebook last week. Lisburn City Race – Final Instructions
Registration is in the overflow carpark at Lagan Valley Leisureplex, from 11.30 to 12.30 (NOT Lagan Valley Island where the 2015 Lisburn City Race was based.) The overflow carpark is approx 50m SW from the Leisureplex front door. Course details are: Long Course 6.1km, 60m climb – optimal route 8.9km Medium Course 4.1km, 40m climb – optimal route 6.4km Short Course 1.6km, 15m climb – optimal route 1.9km. 2nd Lisburn City Race
The Second Lisburn City Race takes place on Saturday 24 September 2016 from the Lisburn Leisureplex, Lisburn BT28 1LP. Registration will be at the LVO Mobile Orienteering Office which will be parked up in the Leisureplex carpark. This will likely be in the car park section bejond the main building as you drive in. Registration is from 11.30 with starts between 12.00 and 13.00. Club event fees of £9 per adult, £7 per senior/unwaged and £3 per junior or £17 per family apply.
