The Controllers Conference will still go ahead as planned. Alongside the Controllers Course that NIOA are running over the weekend 13/14 Jan 2018 in Tollymore, I am offering a day’s worth of practical help in developing the skills used by planners of orienteering courses. Helen Baxter has agreed to run a series of courses for LVO club members. They will be on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 10 pm in the Derriaghy Room of the Lagan Valley Leisureplex. The club really needs as many volunteers as possible to run all the events we put on each year. After last week’s run round the enchanted wonderland of Antrim Castle Gardens, the 2017 WENT series comes to an end this Wednesday in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. LVO Night Score at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre. There will be two courses on offer to cater for novices and the experienced alike. The final NISeries and Colours of Autumn tables are now available on the NIOrienteering website at “Results>NI Colour Series Leagues” or in the LVO Cloud in the NISeries folder. Congratulations to all the winners, highlighted in red (except Ben Cairns – I’ve just realised that his name is not highlighted! Correction on its way). There are some classes without a winner; that’s because no-one gained sufficient results (4 for the NISeries, 2 for the Colours of Autumn).
