🚶♀️🚶♂️Preparations are well under way to welcome the hundreds of walkers taking on the Original Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge Walk in 10 days time. 🎉The ‘Sevens’ is the most exciting annual event in the Mournes walking/running calendar and Lagan Valley Orienteers single biggest event which helps raise the profile of our club and support development. 🙂If you are not walking but happy to volunteer next Saturday there are still roles that can be filled. Yesterday evening we drew a close to our WEE Series 🙁 Before we congratulate our series winners, we must thank the volunteers who have provided some great evenings out for us. 👏Firstly, Alan Brett who coordinated all four events in June. That’s the weekend wrapped up for another year. 👏Thank you to everyone who attended the festival and enjoyed quality orienteering along with great craic in the summer sunshine. With another lovely day of weather ahead we start off this morning with a really fun Relay idea planned by Wilbert. Meet aat the MOO at 1030 sharp to register. Names wwill be put into a hat and teams of three will be drawn. Start will be at the monument at 1100. Please spread the word and lets get as many out as we can to round off another great weekend!

A decision has been made to change the M60 Club Championship course to Blue, originally Green. This is due to all LVO entries to date.
Unfortunately this evenings event at Antrim Castle Gardens has had to be cancelled. However, we may try and run the event on a Wednesday evening later in the Summer. This was due to a double booking. Really sorry, for last minute notice. Please spread the word.
