That’s the weekend wrapped up for another year. 👏Thank you to everyone who attended the festival and enjoyed quality orienteering along with great craic in the summer sunshine. With another lovely day of weather ahead we start off this morning with a really fun Relay idea planned by Wilbert. Meet aat the MOO at 1030 sharp to register. Names wwill be put into a hat and teams of three will be drawn. Start will be at the monument at 1100. Please spread the word and lets get as many out as we can to round off another great weekend!

We hope to award a few prizes at the Social event at Tollymore on Saturday evening. 🏆Hopefully we will have some results hot off the press from the Club Championships earlier in the day. 👞🥿We also have the Golden Boot and Silver Slipper for the fastest finisher (last control to finish). 😀On top of all that we have a £20 decathlon voucher to give away. A decision has been made to change the M60 Club Championship course to Blue, originally Green. This is due to all LVO entries to date.

Unfortunately this evenings event at Antrim Castle Gardens has had to be cancelled. However, we may try and run the event on a Wednesday evening later in the Summer. This was due to a double booking. Really sorry, for last minute notice. Please spread the word.

👏Thank you everyone who competed in the NI championship races, I hope you had a great day running these very different, challenging, yet still, some how, very enjoyable courses! 🎉Congratulations to our May WEE Series winners! With the best three out of the four runs in May being counted and with prizes for the top three male and female athletes and for Juniors too, here are the overall podium results: In the Short Course, the top females were: 1️⃣Jennifer Dawson (Max 300 points), 2️⃣Oonagh Reeve (296) and 3️⃣Abbie Green (288). On Wednesday night we saw the second instalment of the May WEE Series. Around 60 orienteers navigated their way round the grounds of UUJ. How is it the accommodation block always trips me up? – A large part down to the good planning of Billy Reed.
