It was great to see us all studying are maps so hard at University yesterday evening. It was great to have some lovely weather after a couple of damp ones. 🚶‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ 69 people took part, 31 of whom were juniors from clubs, schools or part of a family unit. 👏👏👏 Special thanks go to joint planners/organisers Richard Hetherington and Paul Daniels. Great job everyone who participated in a fantastic evenings fun running up and down the slopes of in Carnfunnock Country Park. If you missed the midnight on Sunday cut off for online entries, don’t panic, you can enter on the evening – just come along to registration – we will be working out of the back of a car, likely a silver Octavia. Entries on Day (EOD) will be £8 for an adult and £4 for a Junior for both members and non-members. Well done everyone who ignored the poor forecast and took part in a great evenings fun running around Antrim Castle Gardens. Thankfully, during most of the event, the rain stayed away, with only poor Simon (who set out the controls before the event), a few late starters and the lovely control collectors who got caught out in a lough side thunderstorm. Congratulations everyone who took part in a great evening at Ballymena Academy – who would have thought going to school would be so much fun! 😃 🚶‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ There were 81 participants in total running round the school grounds 38 of whom were juniors, with a good number of local school children.
