Young Women’s Health – Athlete Research Survey

UU are conducting some research in regards to ‘Women’s Health’ and require support by completing a survey. The overall aim of the study is to understand how menstruation and menstrual pain affects participation in non-elite sports for young women. A WEE report on Jordanstown

World Orienteering Championships 2023

Congratulations to LVO’s very own Paul Pruzina with his achievements so far at this years World Championships. Over the last few days Paul has been representing Ireland in the stunning Flims/Laxx area of the Swiss Alps – someone has to I suppose! The Middle Distance Qualifying races took place on Wednesday. These races determine who gets into the final and their starting positions, with the fastest qualifiers starting last in the final. The fantastic NI Colour Series event on Saturday 24 June at Meelmore hosted the annual LVO Club Championship event. All who attended will agree that the courses were certainly fit for a Championship – thank you to George Savell for planning such a challenge for us to enjoy/endure!
