🌤At last a dry evening welcomed those who took part in the first WEE in the August Series.
🏃♀️It was great to see a good number turn up on the day to join those who pre-entered, making for some good competition.
🗺With a few tweaks made to an updated map (thanks Bill) there were a few new control sites to be found and route choices to me made on Sarah’s courses.
😵To confuse you, we even threw in a mystery control (with no description), totally on purpose of course 🤥
This was of course the first of four events in the August WEE series – so lets see who the early leaders are:
Short Course
1st Rory Mason M10, 2nd Alan Gartside M80, 3rd Andrew Crothers M14.
Long Course
Men: 1st Simon Reeve M45, 2nd Paul Daniels M50, 3rd Keith Dawson
Women: 1st Gillian Wasson W45, 2nd Sharon Dickenson, 3rd Lauren Howe
Juniors: Euan Kennedy M14 is leading the way.

🌺This Wednesday we are at the wonderful Lady Dixon Park. Between the rose gardens, open parkland and thicker woodland there will be lots to explore.
☕The tea and coffee with treats will also be set up again, so not to be missed!
