We had such a great bunch of families at our first Running Wild session at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre at the weekend. Taking place every last Sunday of the month, it’s a chance for juniors and parents to learn all about orienteering and about our club. We welcomed 20 children, 14 of whom were newcomers, together with their parents. Many thanks to Mark, who led the session, together with his helpers Steph, Fionne and Moire. Best of luck to LVO’s James Ewart who is travelling to East Anglia this weekend as part of the Irish squad to take part in this year’s Junior Home International (JHI) in the M14 class. The JHI is an annual competition between teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The JHI is always in the autumn and consists of an individual on the Saturday and a relay on Sunday.
