We’re incredibly proud to announce that LVO’s James Ewart has been selected to represent Ireland at the European Youth Orienteering Championships (EYOC)! Not only is he one of just four M16 athletes from Ireland making the trip, but he’s also in his first year in the category—making this achievement all the more impressive as he competes against older, more experienced peers. Adding to the excitement, James will be lining up against Wilbert Hollinger’s grandson, who has been selected for the Australian team—a fun twist of international orienteering legacy! A great WEE sunny start to the summer series! Yesterday evening saw the start of the WEE (Wednesday Evening Events) at Ormeau Park. Over 60 of us enjoyed running around in the great weather. Well done to first time planner Mark Hopkins who prepared the courses for us to enjoy – they were very well received by everyone who took part.
