Whether you are new to the club or a long-standing member, we would love to see you there. Let’s make 2026 a great year for LVO — together!
Fun Skills Practice & Training to Train sounds like exactly the right low-pressure way to ease back into orienteering after a winter break — jumping straight into competitive courses in January can be rough. Barnett’s Demesne is a solid venue for that kind of session too, plenty of terrain variety without being overwhelming for anyone rusty on navigation. Looking forward to seeing how the turnout is for the first meet of the year.
Fun skills practice is such a good way to ease back in after the winter break rather than jumping straight into a full technical course. Looking forward to seeing how the 2026 season builds on this first meet.
Barnett’s Demesne is a solid choice for a season opener, good mix of terrain without being too technical for people easing back in after winter. Helen leading the session should keep the pace friendly for newer members too. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season lineup shapes up.
Fun Skills Practice sounds like exactly the right way to ease back in after winter — orienteering fitness disappears fast over a break. Hope Barnett’s Demesne treats the club well for the season opener.
Sounds like a perfect opportunity to get back into the swing of things with the club! I’m especially looking forward to strengthening my orienteering skills and connecting with everyone again. See you there!
