Another WEE Reminder and Report

Sorry I am a little late on this WEE reminder and report – if you haven’t already pre-entered online you have up to midnight tonight!

Here is where we are at so far…..

🌞 Another beautiful sunny evening welcomed everyone who came along to Lagan Meadows for the 2nd WEE of the June Series. It has been a while since we have visited this area, so it was good to get back.

πŸ‘‹ It was great to see around 20 juniors and 20+ newcomers/non-members who took part either independently or in a friendship/family unit. Almost 60 entered competitively and the runners enjoyed a real mix of vegetation over this flat park land.

πŸ₯‡πŸ₯ˆπŸ₯‰ So after 2 events lets see who is top of the handicap league table.

Long – Men: James Ewart M14 (and clearly 1st Junior) and Lyle Fleming M60 are joint first on 199 points both sharing a first and second place so far in the two races. In 3rd position is Paul Daniels, not far off on 195 points.

Long – Women: It is also very close with the ladies. Anastasia Mahlych W18 is in 1st place (and 2nd Junior) with 188 points, Gillian Wasson W45 has 181 has swapped places with Helen Baxter W65 3rd only 1 point behind, 180.

Long Junior: Jason Smith M14 remains in 3rd on 158 points.

Short – Senior: Daphne Hammond W65 is sitting in 1st place closely followed by Liz Dawson W40 and Richard McCourt M80.

Short – Junior: Ellis Reeve W10 has moved from 3rd last week up to 1st position with 195 points, followed by her sister Oonagh W10 who is on 191 points. Finn Dawson occupies the final podium position and is on 186 points.

Remember your best three results from the four WEEs in June will count, so still all to play for.
