Entries are now open for the June WEE Series, starting next Wednesday in Ballyclare. As before, there will be hCOW tables generated from the long course results (they are kept separate from the colour series tables due to the differing technical difficulty of the WEE events affecting the handicap consistencies). Unlike the colour series which carried over last year’s handicaps to the first event, next Wednesday will be used to generate handicaps for all finishers so will not assign points. That means the series will run over the remaining seven events with the best four to count. To distinguish them from colour the WEE tables will appear in a subfolder of hCOW2023. When it came to naming this I decided to stick with the bovine theme (MOO, hCOW…) so as the subfolder is holding the tables for WEE hCOW it will be called “hCALF2023. Haven’t yet worked out what hCALF is an abbreviation for – ideas on a postcard please!
