Event Description

Date Wednesday 6 May 2026
Venue Ormeau Park
Event Format The Wednesday Evening Event (WEE) Series consists of eight races throughout May and June.

The WEE series is a great introduction if you are new to the sport, or a valuable training opportunity if you are already a dab hand. For those who thrive on competition we also have something for you, with the WEE series league table.

Each evening there will be two courses, Short and Long.

The Short Course is approximately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suited to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also popular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.

The Long Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more challenging. It is best suited for runners looking for more adventure and best suited to adults or juniors with navigational experience.
