For those who thrive on competition we also have someth ing for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approximately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suite d to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also pop ular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.\n\nThe L ong Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more ch allenging. It is best suited for runners looking for more adventure and be st suited to adults or juniors with navigational experience.\n\nCoaching a vailable - if you are new\, don't worry\, there will be experienced coache s/officials at registration to welcome newcomers\, explain the activity an d give some coaching tips. If you feel you or your child would like more s upport than this\, there may be some coaches available to 'shadow' you rou nd the course. Start will be a short walk on the path between the all weathe r pitch and the new dog exercise park. Registration is also a safe place for children to wait.\n\nPlea se do not come to the event if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry a ny medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf y ou come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get furth er help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, wh ether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all competit ors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and control s collected in at 8.30pm sharp.
