Event Description
If you are new to planning or want to improve your planning skills, then this is the course for you.
This will be a very hands-on practical course. There will be indoor teaching time, with support with planning courses on the computer using Condes and/or PurplePen software as well as some outside planning in the parkland and forest area next to the centre.
BOF rules will be discussed to ensure courses are planned to ensure fairness and take into account participant safety.
If you have an event coming up (such as a WEE) that you are planning, you will be encouraged to work on this with the support of lead tutor, Philip Baxter and possibly other experienced planners.
Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided.
What to bring:
Wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for indoors and outdoors.
Notepad and pen
Laptop with course planning software (Condes/PurplePen).
