SUMMARY:NIOA Improving Planning Course
DESCRIPTION:If you are new to planning or want to improve your planning ski
 lls\, then this is the course for you.\n\nThis will be a very hands-on pra
 ctical course. There will be indoor teaching time\, with support with plan
 ning courses on the computer using Condes and/or PurplePen software as wel
 l as some outside planning in the parkland and forest area next to the cen
 tre.\n\nBOF rules will be discussed to ensure courses are planned to ensur
 e fairness and take into account participant safety.\n\nIf you have an eve
 nt coming up (such as a WEE) that you are planning\, you will be encourage
 d to work on this with the support of lead tutor\, Philip Baxter and possi
 bly other experienced planners.\n\nLunch and refreshments throughout the d
 ay will be provided.\n\nWhat to bring:\n\nWear comfortable clothes and foo
 twear suitable for indoors and outdoors.\n\nNotepad and pen\n\nLaptop with
