Event Description

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Timed out crossing: ALL courses, Qualifying Race Only

All courses have been planned to cross a main road at the same point. We had anticipated that the road would be closed for the event;  it will not now be closed. Consequently, for safety reasons, you will now have a timed-out road crossing using two controls not shown on your map, on a route which you would have taken anyway.

On approaching the crossing you will see and punch/swish an extra control that will pause your race time. A marshal will be present but it is your responsibility to punch.

It is then your own responsibility to cross the road safely as soon as possible. However, you must pay attention to any instructions from marshals.

For juniors below M/W16 a marshal will identify them and assist them in crossing the road when it is deemed safe to do so.

On reaching the other side of the road, you must punch/swish the second control immediately and then continue on your course.
