My planning inspection at Woodburn revealed that the short walk from the parking to the start was through a blasted heath of a felled area – no trailO control sites could be seen, let alone trees! There will therefore be no IntrO activity at Woodburn tomorrow. The results and updated standings from the Lady Dixon PreO are available here   The updated NISeries tables following Portstewart last weekend can be found here  Several classes have already been won after 5 events – congratulations to those highlighted in red!
Didn’t make it on Saturday but still fancy a run this weekend?  Ran on Saturday and want more? Heard about orienteering and want to give it a go? Lagan Valley Orienteers are holding a Come and Try It + Training event at Carnfunnock Country Park this Sunday 13th September. The fun starts at 2 pm and it will be using the permanent control points. Map cost £1. Meet in front of the cafe. If the main car park is used there is a parking charge but there is a free car park just off the Shore Road near the entrance. Event Read More …
