IntrO at Carnfunnock

The IntrO activity on Sunday will be a 4-control PreO course, counting towards the club’s PreO Championship.  Start and finish will  be at the SW corner of the car park, beside the FootO start.  There are a several things to note: The PreO course runs through the FootO terrain, so PreO must be undertaken after your FootO run (does this make it PostO?). The area used has not seen much management since the survey was done so use vegetation boundaries as locators at your peril! The paths haven’t seen much management either but you must take care to stay on Read More …

N Ireland Road Relays: Victoria Park Belfast

Well done the the our juniors Andrew, Peter and Rachel who took part in the N Ireland road relays at Victoria Park. They ran a fast paced race at just over 1600m (roughly a mile) and did very well, finishing one behind the other in the order given above and not that far behind the winner. There were a number of adults from the club at the race as well so well done to those that took part.

Changes to Junior Training

Due to personal circumstances I have had to adjust the junior training programme. Please make sure you take a look at the junior training page to see the plan for the rest of this year. I’m also looking for someone to plan the junior training event on the 6 Dec at Ormeau Park please. Without a volunteer this will have to be cancelled. Alan
