Three courses available, Green (4.5km), Orange (3.1km) and Yellow (2.0km). Registration Open:  11:00 First Start from:  11:30 Last Start at:  14:00 Course closes:  15:00 •Parking in public car park just to the south of Woodburn Presbyterian Church car park. •The forest has some nice running but it is hard to link the good areas without a bit of brush, therefore full leg protection is advisable for the Green Course. Once again the WEE Series ends in the fantastic environment of Sir Thomas and lady Dixon Park on the Upper Malone Road in Belfast. Shaun Henry has produced great looking courses – a Long at 3.4km and a Short at 1.8km – so the running should be fast and furious.  Don’t forget about the IntrO event that you can do after your run. WEE meets IntrO!

At next week’s final WEE event in Lady Dixon there will be an IntrO event, counting towards the club PreO Championship.  It will be a PreO course of 5 controls (subject to final planning and map refinement) starting and finishing at the picnic area at the north end of the main car park.  As it wends its way out into the FootO terrain it must not be taken until after your WEE run.  As ever entry is free and it’s open to all.  I’ll be at the start and available to help get newcomers started. Lagganlia 2015

The BOF ‘Lagganlia’ training camp is based at the Lagganlia OEC near Aviemore. It is aimed at M/W14’s and takes place from 25 Jul to 1 Aug. There are usually about 24 places for athletes on the camp so competition to get a place can be tough. This year we are delighted that two of our junior stars Andrew E and Rachel C have obtained places. They travel by flight to Edinburgh and then by train to Aviemore on Sat 25 Jul to start their week.
