I hope you’re looking forward to the final Autumn Trophy event of the year in Hillsborough Forest Park on Saturday 21st November. Course details: Green course. 4.9km with 150m climb and 17 controls Orange course. 3.4km with 80m climb and 12 controls Yellow course. 1.8km with 60m climb and 9 controls As regards parking, there is a charge but a reduced one for orienteers. The car parking is right beside the start and finish. Let the man on the gate know that you are orienteering and collect a token from him. Before you leave, take this to the shop, on site, to pay. This Wednesdays club training is at Hillsborough Forest starting at 6.30 PM.  Meet in the main car park off Park Street. This week we will be looking at bearings so a compass will be needed.  Also bring a torch just in case we loose the light! Didn’t make it on Saturday but still fancy a run this weekend?  Ran on Saturday and want more?  Heard about orienteering and want to give it a go? Lagan Valley Orienteers are holding a Come and Try It + Training event at Carnfunnock Country Park this Sunday 13th September.
