Volunteering Update 2018

Hi everyone, The volunteer roster lives on for another year 🙂  Please help make it a success – check out the LVO fixtures list here Get in early for the event & roles of your choice.  As usual it’s a super-full calendar, so we all can work together to ensure all our events can go ahead.  It really helps to have positions filled early in the year.  Don’t delay! Email volunteer@lvo.org.uk Thank you & Happy New Orienteering Year

O Shopping – a quick survey for you

Hi everyone, I have set up a wee orienteering survey which I’d love you to answer. It’s about your O shopping habits. We have a potential project with a sports retailer so let’s make sure they know the kind of products we’d like to buy. Link is below, it’ll only take a minute or two, it’s totally confidential, and it’s dead easy! Survey is open till 5pm on Monday. https://goo.gl/forms/NeWIaUdvyjqFeH0P2

Facebook Updates

Exciting times – we’ve got some Facebook changes today.  Our Group remains, with a name change to LVO Club Discussion Group.  Our Page also remains – Lagan Valley Orienteers – it’s a great public face for the club in the world of Facebook. It’ll shortly be cheerio to the WEE Series Orienteering page (but not the WEE Series itself, very importantly it’s still here!!). Make sure you like our Lagan Valley Orienteers page to keep up to date 🙂  It’s pretty new so not everyone is on there yet.  We’d love your feedback – I’ll be at the Ormeau WENT tomorrow, send a pm to the team, or give Read More …
