Thanks to a grant from Orienteering Foundation, Lagan Valley Orienteers(LVO) launched its Running Wild initiative in September 2024, and the impact in its first year has been huge. More families getting involved Strong growth in club membership (up 20% in 12 months) A thriving pathway for juniors moving into competitive orienteering The dedicated Junior & Families Officer, Mark Stephens, who is funded through the grant has been key to building a fun, welcoming and sustainable community, one that’s quickly becoming a model for other clubs.
