⏰ A reminder that the club AGM will be held after the Club Meet this coming Saturday afternoon – Saturday 9th March.
📍 It will take place in the education room at Gosford Forest Park, immediately after we have a bite to eat approx.1.30/2pm start.
👨👩👧👦It would be great to see a representation from all sections of our club, new members and juniors especially welcome, it will give you an idea of what’s going on and how you can contribute and fit in to the bigger plan.
🏆During this meeting we award The Steve McGibbon Trophy. This is the most prestigious Annual Club Award which is voted on by all members attending the AGM. This award is named in memory of a hugely respected orienteer and stalwart of Lagan Valley Orienteers, who sadly died in 2006 aged only 51.The trophy is not focussed on competition performance, rather the award is considered as recognition of the person/s thought to have provided the most outstanding contribution to the club’s affairs in the previous year. Nominations, along with a supporting statement should be sent to the Secretary, Mark Earnshaw.
👍 Can I also remind you to complete event feedback forms. It would be great if you gave a few minutes and reflected on the events you attended over the past year, the form can be completed at any time and is pretty short. There is a £20 gift voucher raffle too!
