Earlier this evening Alan published the hCalf results for the first of the competitive WEE events in 2023. hCalf provides a competitive format for all, including those who may have a long term injury.
In the past the WEE series had a handicap system for age and gender. Encouraged by the wishes of LVO members, the Committee decided this should be restored. Accordingly tonight also sees the restoration of those results. Each event is scored on a handicap basis and each month of WEEs forms a league series.
These results were formerly published on the WEE website but this year will be published alongside other results on the main LVO site. The results will be published as both a PDF file and an Excel file. The results include a cover page explaining the handicap system.
As this is the first night these results have been published please let me know (website “at” lvo.org.uk) if you see any errors. Planners and organisers will be credited for any night they aren’t able to compete as described in the rules.
…to whet your appetite the first three places this evening were taken by age categories including 60, 14 and 75.
