What a great day!
👍Thank you to everyone who came along to compete in our first Club Championship event of the year.
🌞Weather was as great as the ‘running’ and the craic. Of course, for us all to have so much fun on the side of a Belfast hill we rely on our happy band of volunteers. Here’s a go at remembering and thanking👏 those who helped out – firstly, to Mark Earnshaw for planning, Mark Pruzina for sorting entries and behind the scene IT support, Nastia and her friend Yaroslava with a little help from myself and Gavin. Control collectors, Aaron, Paul, James, Mark, Steph, Gordon and Colin. Sarah for tea and coffee and Harry and Anne for other bits and bobs (sorry if I missed anyone).
The Junior course (M/W14-) had a maximum of 300 points on offer, all other courses had a max of 580. To check out all the provisional results you can look here. 👀
From the provisional results, here are the category winners as I can work out (disclaimer: before I get Alan Gartside to check and correct where necessary):
⭐M/W Open – Mark Stephens (470) and Moire O’Sullivan (430)
⭐M/W 14- James Ewart (300 max points!)
⭐M/W 18- Anastasia Maglych (300) and Liam Hopkins (150)
⭐M/W Vet 45+ Paul Daniels (430) and Sarah Gamble (330)
⭐M/W Vet 55+ Geoffrey Collins (320) and Steph Pruzina (310)
⭐M/W Vet 65+ Gordon Stephens (250) and Anne Bell (200)
Well done everyone!
