This Saturday we’ll be sorting out and cleaning up our club equipment in preparation for a move to new premises. Our Kilwee store has been an ideal facility for many years but all good things come to an end and we are moving to a temporary store at Ballyclare – thank you Wilbert for the use of your shed – while we look for a permanent home.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you can only spare an hour or two, between 10.00 and 4.00. If you haven’t been there before you can find directions here, or give me a call. Bring a snack (or lunch); I’ll bring a kettle but I’m afraid that’s the extent of the catering facilities. The nearest toilets I know of are in Tesco at Dunmurry.
All our kit (and there’s a lot of it) needs a good cleaning and you will get mucky! Water, mops, buckets, rags, old towels and that type of thing would be useful if a few people can bring those. It all sounds as much fun as orienteering on a wet day!
