This is just a reminder to send me any nominations for the Steve McGibbon Trophy, details here. For this award, the club membership votes for the person or group who provided the most outstanding contribution to the club’s affairs in the previous year. I have a couple of nominations from March, but please email any additional suggestions to secretary@lvo.org.uk by Wednesday 30th September. I will then publish a list where you can vote by email before the AGM on Zoom on Wednesday 7th October at 7:30pm.

Cecil, I meant to pass this information on to you last year but I forgot. Steve was only 50 when he died. Christine had a big birthday party for him in August 2005 and he never made it to August 2006 despite still running Brown courses.
