We cancelled our AGM in March as COVID-19 restrictions were about to be imposed. We hoped that we would soon be able to have an alternative but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case, so we’re going ahead with an abbreviated Virtual AGM on Zoom on Wednesday 7th October at 7:30pm. The NIOA Virtual AGM recently worked pretty well – we promise ours will be brief, informative and you might even end up winning an award!
New this year are awards + vouchers for novice and expert Planner and Controller of the year 2019. This was an excellent suggestion by Philip Baxter to recognise some of those members who have contributed to putting on the events programme.
We also of course have the Steve McGibbon Trophy, details here, for which the club membership votes for the person or group who provided the most outstanding contribution to the club’s affairs in the previous year. I have a couple of nominations from March, but please email any additional suggestions to secretary@lvo.org.uk by Wednesday 30th September. I will then publish a list where you can vote by email.
