Missing your fix of O? Well don’t worry, we haven’t finished for the year yet. Out here amongst the orchards we still have 2 events left before the Xmas break, and next up is this Sunday afternoon in Portadown where we have a Middle Distance Urban on offer. A new map and a new area to almost all.
Enjoyed the Craigavon WEE? Or couldn’t make that event but heard how enjoyable it was? Well this will be right up your street ( sorry 🙂 ). For those of you who like urban events you can even treat this as a warm up for an Orchard County Middle Distance Urban League coming next year.
There will be three courses on offer so everyone is welcome whatever your ability and experience:
- For young kids under 13 and all family beginners; you get to play in the safe environment of the People’s Park.
- For 13-15 year olds who wish to run unaccompanied and adult beginners / novices there is an urban event with two timed out road crossings for safety.
- Whilst for everyone else 16 and over I have planned a little jaunt around part of Portadown.
Parking is at the People’s Park car park, Park Road, Portadown, BT62 1DS.
Registration : From 1.30 pm.
Starts : 1.30 pm – 2.30 pm
Courses close : 4.00 pm
Cost : £ 3 per map.
