Thanks to Conor, Susan, Cara, Sean, Richard, Sid and Pete who stepped up to put on last week’s WENT in Dixon Park, 25 got to run Helen’s challenges. It is great to see club members coming to the fore when needed.
This week we are in Wallace Park in Lisburn. We have used the park before for MicrO sessions in the summer months but we have not been there at night for some time. The park is small and so we will also be venturing out into the local street network. There will be absolutely no need for any crossing of the main roads that bound the park and the side roads that will use have very little traffic. As always, there is something for everyone so come along and have a go – running at night with a headtorch can be very liberating!
Registration opens at 7.00pm in the main car park off the Belsize Road. Mass start at 7.30pm; 45 min time limit as normal. £2 for members, £4 for guests.
Next week’s WENT Finale will probably be in Belvoir Forest. Details will appear here but keep the evening free – after the run there will be hot chocolate, mince pies and assorted other Christmassy type morsels to help bring the series to an end.
