Event Description
Now that the clocks have changed and darkness comes earlier, Wednesday Evening Night Training starts this week with WENT 1 in Ormeau Park. Congregate in the main car park at 7.10pm for a 7.30pm mass start. There is a 45 min time limit so we should be comfortably clear by 8.30pm with controls in. There is something for everyone – from novice to experienced orienteers. All you need is a head torch, compass (we can lend you one), SI card if you have one (we will supply for others), suitable footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy and, above all, a sense of adventure. Under 16s will have to be accompanied by an adult. Cost is £2 for members and £4 for non-members.
