| Event Format | LVO invites our junior orienteers to Skills Squad.
Join us for a six-week coaching programme designed to help junior orienteers build confidence and improve their navigating. Each week will focus on a different key skill, with fun, practical activities and challenges to help participants develop their orienteering. Each session will take place on a different area. Sessions are for juniors who are currently, confidently completing TD3 (orange courses) Juniors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the coaching. |

| Start Times | Arrive 9.45am for registration. Coaching takes place 1000am to 1130am, with a chance to catch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash afterwards. | |

| Kit requirements | 🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationary, so layer up – bring along an extra jumper, a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping of the kit, it is dropped off at your own risk, so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry whistles. | |
